Robert Murray M’Cheyne was a minister in Scotland from 1835-1843. Despite only serving for a handful of years his life made a huge impact. From his trip to Jerusalem to his Bible reading plan this 29 year old left a mark on history.
His sermon, “Do What You Can,” reminds us that our time is short and we are to spend our years on Earth doing what we can for God. What makes it especially challenging is that it comes from a man who was only 29 when he died and he spent his time on Earth “Doing all that he could.”

What could Christians do if they saw past this one moment in time? Our goal with Revived Thoughts is to help Christians do just that by learning from historical sermons.
