He Was One Of History's Greatest Writers But He Said He'd Rather Have This...

Jonathan Swift was one of history's greatest writers, especially as a satire writer. Many people don't know that he was a Christian because he was not very open about his Christianity. Instead he often hid it from the world. out of fear of being called a hypocrite for not living up to the principles of Scripture.

However, in a sermon he once told his audience that had become very interested in Greek Philosophy that even ONE sentence of Scripture is worth more than thousands of pages of Greek Philosophy. Because philosophy will someday be burned up but Scripture is forever.
