John Calvin lived in the 1500's and was a major part of the Reformation. His work is still read today and Calvinism is his namesake. He suffered persecution by Catholics in France and many other difficulties in ministry. In his sermon, "Ravenous wolves wreak havoc," he gives timely advice on how to deal with those who would deceive the church.
