Martin Luther: The Distinction Between The Law And The Gospel (Feat. Bryan Wolfmueller)

Martin Luther is famous for nailing the 95 Theses on the church wall and "kicking off" the Reformation. In this episode Joel and Troy get a chance to interview Bryan Wolfmueller and discuss Martin Luther with him. Questions like, "What made Martin Luther stand out?" And, "What would you ask Martin Luther if you could?" In his sermon, "The Distinction Between The Law and The Gospel," Martin Luther actually passed out after delivering this sermon and was ill for a time after it. He passionately explains the difference between these two genres of Scripture. Special thanks to Bryan Wolfmueller for the interview and for reading this episode's sermon. Pastor Bryan Wolfmueller is pastor of St. Paul and Jesus Deaf Lutheran Churches in Austin, TX. He is the author of A Martyr’s Faith for a Faithless World (CPH 2019), and other works. He is the co-host of Table Talk Radio podcast and has a number of other theological projects that all end up on his blog, www.wolfmueller.co.
