Phineas Bresee: Baptism With Fire

Phineas Bresee lived in the late 1800s and early 1900s. He would go on to be one of the founding members of the Church of the Nazarene. He encouraged the church to be welcoming to all and especially the lowly. In his sermon, "Baptism With Fire," he reminds us that God's fire is a cleansing good for our soul. That although it may hurt, it is necessary to grow closer to God. Special thanks to Owen White for narrating this sermon. Pastor Owen answered God’s call on his life to preach at the age of 16. Since then he has served many years in youth and worship ministries. Pastor Owen has been serving as a lead pastor in Nazarene churches over the last 7 years. His current assignment is in West Chester, PA. He graduated from Eastern Nazerene college and is married to Hillary and currently has three kids. If you'd like to financially support the show, go to our Patreon!
