John Calvin: The Empty Tomb

John Calvin was one of the most famous preachers of the Reformation. In this episode, we discuss the side of him that is often not discussed as much: Calvin the Statesman. We also listen to the part that followed his sermon, "Passion of the Christ," from just before Easter last year. Special thanks to Chips Ross. Chips currently serves in Fresno, California as pastor of Westwood Baptist Church. As a child, he assumed he was a Christian because he answered the Bible questions correctly. But, God used a drama of DL Moody to make him realize that he did not know Jesus personally. Chips has an English degree from The Master’s College, and a Master of Divinity degree from The Master’s Seminary. He and his wife, Christchanna, have four school age children. We are now partnered with ServeNow! If you would like to give to their ministry that gives bikes to pastors in rural areas around the world so that they can spread the Gospel, please check out their website and their new book: Hope Rising.
